I cannot believe it's almost April now, can you? It feels as if the time flies a lot faster as the years go by, why is that?
Only good thing about it is that it's now spring again! I don't mind the snow but it's not my favorite. So what about where you are? Still freezing? or too hot? I prefer to be in between obviously.
Today I braved myself fooling around in the kitchen making some Filipino dish again, the result wasn't bad. But tomorrow night I am planning on making some pasta out of the ordinary pasta I normally do. And found this one recipe.
Baked Rigatoni with Spinach, Ricotta, and Fontina
Please click on the photo to access the website. - 1 pound(s) rigatoni
- 3 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 package(s) (10-ounce) frozen spinach, thawed
- 2 cup(s) (about 1 pound) ricotta
- 5 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) grated nutmeg
- 3/4 teaspoon(s) salt

- 1/4 teaspoon(s) fresh-ground black pepper
- 6 ounce(s) fontina, grated (about 1 1/2 cups)
- Heat the oven to 450°F. Oil a 9-by-13-inch baking
dish. - In a large pot of boiling, salted water
, cook the rigatoni until almost done, about 12 minutes. Drain. Put the pasta
in the prepared baking dish and toss with 1 tablespoon of the oil. - Meanwhile, squeeze as much of the water as possible from the spinach. Put the spinach in a food processor and puree with the ricotta, 3 tablespoons of the Parmesan, the nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir in half the fontina.
- Stir the spinach mixture into the pasta. Top with the remaining fontina and Parmesan. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons oil over the top. Bake
the pasta until the top is golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes. - Variation: You can substitute another chunky pasta, such as penne rigate, penne, ziti or fusilli. Boil all of these one or two minutes less.
- Wine Recommendation: A delicately flavored white such as Orvieto will complement the mild ricotta nicely. And, because Orvieto is not oaky, the wine has no bitter tannin to clash with the slightly bitter spinach and nutmeg.
Sounds very delicious!

So we love country. Did you know that I noticed that 80 per cent of the radio stations in Ventral New York is country. It is not a valid research study, it only adheres to my own observation when I am playing around with the tuning of my FM radio. Because of that, I get sick of keep turning it over and over to some kind of music that I have in the mood for. Hard rock, R n' B, classic, you name it, but country. I used to listen a lot with country music back in the Philippines, it seemed like the people's favorite down there.
Since I love the country now, and perhaps everything country and the.. Texas Cowboys seem intriguing and acquiring
RodeoHouston tickets to see the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show will be a fun thing to do to walk around check out anything about the Rodeo. Would love to see the Livestock Show as well, I love fairs, the food the people and the music is the best part! Dancing to the music once you got a few beer is way so much fun.
If you like country and everything country or know someone that likes Livestock Shows, then this is your thing. It should be fun. Paying this much with way so much fun is always worth the price, with the weather getting better and Texas weather is always beautiful.

I am on the hunt! I am on the hunt again for stocks to buy, for some diversity in my portfolio. I have a few that I am very pleased with the result so far. But just like the weather, the stock market is just as finicky and you just never know the next day, it could completely turn around 180 degrees.
I have a couple that I am eying at but I still would need more time to watch it. Any ideas? I am realizing the importance of getting paid dividends now. As opposed to my original belief that it doesn't give justice to my concept that it gives me overall gains. Now that I am taking all these profits in in my portfolio, then by all means I'm going after stocks that pay dividends.
Despite numerous attempt to keep my Apple stocks I just thought in the end that the gains is considerably much lower if I use the capital on other stocks that are priced just 10 percent of this one. See for yourself here how the progress of Apple has moved way up on the list. Click

It's a beautiful day. It almost tells me that I can do things outdoors, of course this weather is very unpredictable, it could drop drastically in a matter of minutes, even seconds.
It also means that if we have pending work in the house then we could work on that. I was looking at this
stainless steel kitchen sinks that I have always wanted. Not that the kitchen is my favorite part of the house but I know these things last and this could actually make me want to cook more.

Mr. Direct SinkI always wanted a double sink which is easier to work on when cooking and when there's two people trying to squeeze in doing things to get the dinner done. Wouldn't it be great? SO if you need some sink changing or simply want some long lasting ones, then there you go.
Also, take advantage of the same-day shipping available if feel the need to get them right away.

How important it is for us to pay attention to our relationship with our partner? Whether we are dating, engaged, living together or married -- it is extremely important that we take care of that gift of love. But on the other hand, if things are starting to go downhill along the line then there's a point where we might say, "Is it worth the sacrifices?" There are a few factors to consider in drawing the line in this particular matter, such as children, finances, properties and personal interests.
Here are some signs the union is in jeopardy, but keep in mind that this doesn't mean that it's the end of it, it simply tells us that we need to improve upon the relationship save it before it gets on the edge. Please follow the link
here.
1. Are you exaggerating the negatives? For the next two months mark the good and bad days on your calendar to get a reality check.
2. Have you already left the marriage by emotionally withdrawing? Or by giving up all attempts to make the relationship better? If so, can you find a way to reengage?
3. Do you get so angry that you hit each other or throw things at least once a month? If the answer is yes, are you hanging on to a terrible relationship because you're afraid of being alone? Or because you're convinced it's the best you can do?
4. If you're frustrated because your husband won't change (you'd like him to be more forceful or manly, for example), is it really necessary that he does? Is there anything in your family history that may be driving your need to transform him? (For example, perhaps your father never stood up for you when you needed him to do so.)
5. Have you been teaching your husband the wrong lessons by not challenging his hurtful behavior? (You don't say anything when he criticizes you in public. He never washes the dishes, so you just do them, resentfully.)
6. Do you have fun together? Even when things are tough, do you make jokes about it? (A good sign.) If not, can you make time in your marriage for more play?
7. Are there conflicts that you've avoided in the relationship? What do you fear would happen if you confronted them?
8. Do you simply need more time alone? A weekend on your own every so often to make the heart grow fonder?
9. Has something occurred — a death, a big birthday, a job loss — that's throwing off your relationship and needs to be addressed?
10. Have you done everything you possibly can to make this marriage work? Are you certain he has heard your complaints? Have you tried a marriage-education class or couples therapy? If he won't go to counseling, have you gone yourself to see how you might save the relationship?
