Hey look, it's past midnight and I am still blogging after the tedious school work. Sharp wire brushes leave your caviar looking clean.

As the cars and the ground freezes to death including me down here I am sending one more post right here, will update more later.

Paper Calendar versus Online Calendar

Ahh, even in this computer age, believe it or not there's still people the prefer the paper. It's more comfortable in some uses. I personally prefer a calendar where I can see my itineraries in one glance. So I would still need one other than my online calendar where my colleagues and I can access it very easily. I wouldn't mind these promotional desk calendars, they are handy and give me the information I need right away about my day's activities based on what I recorded. As opposed to using the computer which my husband insists, I get so tempted to browse other things on the net when I open my computer. If you are like me then you might want to check out this one out.

How About a New Desk/Cabinet

I mentioned on my post before this one that I have been rearranging my home office and putting list for the things I might need. I am not in a hurry, I like to take it slow and surely. Right now, I am shopping around for desk and cabinet, and I found this one. I don't have a enormous space for a big furniture and everything else I need but I thought this one is a little conservative as well as providing me what I need. I like that it doesnt look like I have to have it on against the wall, if I feel like moving things around I could put it right in the middle when i get to the point where I could afford a place of my own. Nothing fancy, just a good ambiance and something that has a positive attitude as a workplace.

What do you think? For my budget, it's little pricey but then I think it has some quality attached to it, I'll have to find the same or about similar kind around the area and see it for myself if I like it or no and then go ahead and order it?

Is It Time?

Hello! Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving holiday. I did, its always nice to spend time with nice people. Of course as I always do ( and perhaps everyone else) I overeat. Can't help it can we? Next holiday to look forward to is the Christmas season, I can't believe it's already December in 2 days. As I have been rearranging my little place in our apartment, it has some kind of positive psychological effect that makes me wanna work harder, and harder! Of course, it will be great if I have nice work desk and a cabinet for my books too, among other things such as fax machine, printer that is less expensive than laser, a desktop exclusively for work where I can install all my business software that I still need to acquire also. Long list, little by little, I prefer that I accomplish all of these out of my own pocket, great motivation.
Traditional Grandfather Clocks

For now I am going to concentrate on my list for Christmas shopping, at first I was imagining that I am going to be pro-conservative this Christmas season but on a second thought, wouldn't I be more productive if I have nice things to use and better aura? Me thinks so. And for something to buy here at home to remember this year I'll see if i can find some grandfather clocks that I could display in the living room. I haven't own any of this kind of clock but I always see them a lot in homes and establishments, in fact our school library has one!

Since I need to do some homework on looking at this I might have to visit and learn more about this one. Of course they have other varieties also to choose from.

Any Ideas for Home Office Design?

I am in the process of redesigning our dining room/workspace, making room for never-ending paperworks that need to be taken care of on a regular basis. No doubt we dont have a whole lot of space to make room for everything but a little bit of everything will do.

My plan is to have a little office which I can accommodate printer, maybe fax, a desktop for my "office use only", a phone, a reasonable size desk and 4 drawer filing cabinet, and maybe another cabinet for books.

This photo on the side will do for now. It will give me a start and take my imagination from there. I guess the size is similar to what I am making out of mine. I'll take it from there.

Facebook Follows Google Structures

Is Facebook ready to be public?

Yesterday, I read about the the social networking community about converting all its current stockholders to class B stock which carries 10 times the voting power. They are in the process of it all, in preparation for an IPO?

In a statement, Facebook confirmed that it introduced a dual-class stock structure "because existing shareholders wanted to maintain control over voting on certain issues to help ensure the company can continue to focus on the long term to build a great business."

Would this IPO act like google when it first came out to be a public company? Or it's too big now there would have no more room for so much more improvement?

Car Maintenance

These expenses in car maintenance are getting ridiculous! If it's not thing it's the other. Finally we are down to one car that has to have maintenance done for the byear before we renew the registration and this one has problem with steering box which good thing, I shopped online about how much it averages on the cost and this way we have an idea how much more we have to spend.

Ahh, it's always better to shop around on the internet before jumping and get carried away sometimes, right?

A Little Hiccup?

So I had a little bump last week on my security value. The Dow Jones Industrial was wayy down on Friday and I could have both a few more securities if I had money to manipulate, but after that hiccup I think I am going back up of course I don't know until the week is over again. From my observation, it always starts out well on Mondays and then go all the way down towards the weekend, weird huh?!

I might do something differently this week which is part of my experimentation. See what works and not.

So, You Want More Money?

On the other hand, more people think that gambling is a no-brainer kind of thing to becoming rich in a snap of fingers. True. I know a lot of people that cash their winning for a single ticket at where I work for over $500 for what he spent on that single ticket is definitely a tempting way to get some extra cash. Well other ways to gamble is to play online casino which i believe is more convenient where we can just sit at home and have fun, next thing we know is collecting money for winning, right?

I want some money, why not try that? Good luck!

How About a Hundred Bagger

SO I was reading this article the other day how I could invest if I had $1,000 cash and make a great percentage of return off of it.

There are numerous options to choose from in making the money work for us. I am complete novice in investing and still in the process of learning the ropes of it. I may need to invest some cash for "how to invest Warren-Buffet-like way" book. Not a bad idea.

Now, if you have $20, $200, $500 or $1,000 or more to invest then you are on your way to securing your retirement.

How to invest $1,000-plus
What can you do with a grand? Obviously, with $1,000 you can open up a discount brokerage account, but look at the rewards if you can scrape up an additional $1,000 a year to add to your original investment. Take it from FOOL.

Same Money on Personalized Cards by Save the Date

I was just listening on the radio this morning and the commercial of one retail store was talking about how we can save a lot of money changing our oil on our own. Then, it made me think, hmm wonder how much money it will save me and will it be worth my time doing it rather than taking it to the car shop. I have been so frugal lately, have to, really avoid unnecessary expenses. I used to grocery shop alot buying stuff at home but it has gotten less frequent now, guess it's a good thing. I was just speaking to my friend whose getting married in January and kind of helping her out to plan things more carefully earlier than later to save some money, and one thing we thought we could do to save some money is instead of asking a company to do her invitation we do it on our own with the same quality personalized and we can do it exactly as we want. The save the date magnets have different products that we could assist us to make this happen for smaller price, even our souvenirs can be made out of them. Cool, huh?

Whats Next

Wow, I can't believe I only have 5 weeks now until I get done with the semester then I get a month break and start back up again.

How time flies... I have accomplished a lot of things this semester and definitely maximized learning and able to apply them. Lately I have been so into investments and in fact I thought I'd actually try it. Been reading a lot and one advice I think might work is doing the opposite of what they are saying in all the media vehicles whether its paper and the Squaqk Box(tm). But, I would like to know how I do in a few months since the economy is moving ahead. Oil seems to be doing so well especially today but gold also soared. That's next in line to look at.

Something new I learned today that I think is worth sharing: Read on...

What is a post-marital agreement?

A post-marital agreement is like a prenuptial agreement, except you sign it after you marry. You can use a post-marital agreement to settle beforehand, under more amicable circumstances, what would happen to your property should you ever divorce. You can also use it to clarify who has rights to certain property, such as a family business.

If you already have a prenuptial agreement, you can update or renegotiate it with a post-marital agreement. Both of you should seek independent legal advice before you sign.
